As an independent garage, we're not tied to any franchise or dealership. That means no corporate targets, no upselling pressure, and no inflated labour rates. Gary McCafferty founded West Autos with over a decade of hands-on experience in the motor trade — spanning main dealerships, independent garages, and specialist workshops across Inverclyde. After years of seeing how the big chains treat customers, he opened his own garage with one rule: treat every car like it belongs to a friend.
